With Justin Bieber preparing to release new music soon, most likely his Toronto court date wasn't a part of his schedule.
According to Billboard, the Canadian pop star was absent at his court hearing for a recent assault charge.
The singer was represented by his lawyer Monday afternoon. Bieber was charged for assault after attacking a limo driver after he left a nightclub in December 2013.
His lawyer was given evidence by prosecutors during the hearing.
Bieber is scheduled to return to court on May 12.
