Meek Mill is claiming that an arrest from two years ago is still affecting him today.

According to TMZ, the rapper is suing the city of Philadelphia over false imprisonment and invasion of privacy after he was accused of marijuana possession.
The rapper claims that his arrest from October 2012 caused him to lose over two million dollars in future projects with Puma and scheduled party appearances. Meek was arrested after police say they smelled marijuana in his car.

Because he was detained by police, the rapper missed a $39,000 appearance at an Atlanta party and a canceled $22,000 private jet.

Meek also says that he had a deal with Puma, but due to the controversy was forced to settle for a $650,000 contract.

The rapper has announced in the past his plans to sue the city over the losses.
