After the death of Chief Keef's cousin Big Glo, also known as Blood Money, the rapper has spoken out for the first time since the shooting.

Glo was shot and killed on the way to a recording studio in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago.

Keef tweeted a brief moment he had with his cousin when he passed.

"I can get killed if I'm lien I seen Blood He Was Dead With A Smile on His Face!"

With no known motive, police are currently investigating.

According to the Sun Times, friends of the slain rapper are suspecting that his death may stem from his recent signing to Interscope records. The rapper, who collaborated on Keef's "F*** Rehab" track, signed to the label two weeks ago.

Renaldo Hess, Chief Keef's manager, says that Glo was spending his $500,000 bonus on bills, a car, and his family.

"I just spoke to him two days ago and I could sense something wasn't right," Hess said. "Whenever you get money people in Chicago start looking. They don't have money and he was flashing $8,000. Other people looking to stick him up."
