Since her release from rehab Amanda Bynes has showed improvement in her behavior and well being.
According to TMZ, the actress has released a statement about her mental health after reports say she battled bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in rehab. He lawyer, Tamar Arminak issued a statement to People magazine shooting down the reports.
"There has been much speculation about Amanda's medical condition," she said. "She has remained silent because she believed it was best to keep her mental health diagnosis private."
TMZ is battling the statement with proof that the actress was diagnosed with the illness. They also claim that her mother took her off her medication after Amanda didn't show evidence of psychotic breaks over the past few months.
They also claim that the actress would talk to herself in rehab and was given special medication that is specifically used to treat schizophrenia.
Her lawyer also announced in the statement that Amanda has never used hard drugs or alcohol and hasn't smoked marijuana in nine months.
