24-year-old Chris Brown is in seriously hot water with the law. According to the Washington Post, "he is currently being held in a Washington-area jail until his trail," for allegedly assaulting a fan outside of the W Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. back in October of 2013. Chris and his bodyguard, 35-year-old Christopher Hollosy, have each been charged with misdemeanor assault, while his lawyers claim that he is innocent and was only trying to protect himself and his property along with help from Mr. Hollosy.
Hollosy has come forward trying to take the full blame for the assault, as he has claimed to be the only one who hit the fan. For the assault case, both Chris and Mr. Hollosy face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, but things could get much worse for Breezy due to his 2009 assault case on former girlfriend Rihanna. Chris could also face up to an extra four years in prison in California for violating his probation set in place as punishment for beating Rihanna.
