Ever since YG released his debut album My Krazy Life, the rapper has received a lot of attention and praise from fans and celebrities alike. It looks like he even may have inspired fellow West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg.

In an interview with XXL, the "Who Do You Love" rapper says that he may be the reason why Snoop releases new music in the future.

"Snoop, that's unc," he said. "He just hit me up yesterday and told me 'Yo that album is crazy.' He told me I influenced him to start working on a new album. He's like 'I'm about to work on a new album cause of you.' I said, 'Turn up n***a."

The rapper says that he's always admired the West Coast legend and appreciates the advice he gets from Snoop.

"Snoop always give me advice and shows love wherever I need him. Whenever he need me or call me, I'm pullin up."
