Hollywood star James Franco recently got put on full blast for trying to spit game to a girl named Lucy who is only 17 years old.  While the legal age of consent in New York is 17, it was still a bit shocking to see how he tried to get the teenage girl into a private intimate setting with him, and it all took place on Instagram and later through cell phone texts.

It all began on Tuesday night, April 1st, when James met Lucy outside of the stage door of his Broadway show, "Of Mice and Men."  Lucy recorded an Instagram video of a smiling Franco as he stood before his many fans signing autographs on their playbills as they snapped away with their camera phones.  He spotted her in the crowd and pointed to her as he said, "you gotta tag me, you gotta tag me."  Lucy obliged and posted a photo of her standing in front of him outside of his Broadway show, tagging him "@jamesfrancotv."

James found her thanks to the picture she tagged him in, and sent her a friendly "Hi" in a DM (Direct Message).  Lucy replied back saying "hi," but also posted a shocked Emoji face to let him know how surprised she was to hear from him.  James wasted no time and got right down to business after she replied to him.

"Where do you live? NYC?" he wrote to her.  Lucy informed him that she lived in a small town in Scotland called Dollar, and that she will be in New York City for a few days as a part of her 18th birthday present.  That last part caught James' attention, as he quickly asked her if she was in fact 18, but went a few steps further before she could give her reply.

"You're 18?" he wrote, followed by, "Who are you with? Do you have a bf?"

Lucy's reply was very flirtatious, as she sent him loads of Emoji faces with hearts in the place of a person's eyes, and also informed him that she doesn't have a boyfriend "if you're around."  She did in fact let him know that she hasn't turned 18 yet, but that didn't stop James from getting her phone number and continuing the conversation via text.

Lucy was sceptical when he first texted her, believing that this was all a cruel prank for April Fools. However, James sent her a picture of himself to ease her mind a bit.  He was very clear with his intentions when he texted her, "What's the hotel?  Should I rent a room? Yes or no? Tomorrow or thurs?"

Lucy must've had second thoughts about the entire situation, because she responded by letting him know that she'll "come back when I'm 18."  James didn't seem to be bothered at all with her refusal to meet up, but then she told him that she planned on telling her friends back in Scotland about the potential affair.  James told her not to say anything, and Lucy told him that if she wouldn't say anything if she could get the proper evidence that it was him she'd been talking to all along.

This should've been a clear red flag for James to stop the conversation right there, but Lucy tricked him into giving up even more evidence that it really was him she'd been talking to.  She told him that she would meet him if he wrote her name on a piece of paper and sent it to her with his face in the photo, and sure enough, Franco did just that.  It appears as though the conversation stopped there, after which Lucy made it public knowledge that James Franco tried to get her into bed before her 18th birthday.

James went on to post an Instagram message about the entire situation stating that he "is not a teen f*cker," although that picture was later deleted.  He also changed the bio-section of his Instagram profile by adding, "PLEASE DON'T DM ME IF YOU'RE UNDER 18. THANK YOU," but that too was later deleted.

Look at it this way; this story has the potential to become a very funny movie script starring the likes of James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, and many others, in the near future.
