DeSean Jackson's free agent journey ended abruptly with the player signing with the Washington Redskins on Tuesday.

According to CBS Sports, the player arrived in Washington to meet with the team and signed a deal to play with the team for three years Tuesday. Jackson shared his excitement on Instagram with a screenshot of the news. "ITS GOIN DOWN !! BURGUNDY & GOLD."

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall congratulated the player and welcomed him to the team on Twitter last night. "@DeseanJackson10 congrats lil bro welcome to Redskins Nation. @RGIII @PierreGarcon @DeAngeloHall23 @Wale @John_Wall huge making it happen!!!"

The Eagles have yet to respond to the allegations that they let the player go last week because of gang affiliation.

DeSean will reportedly play against his old team twice a year.
