Young Money's top artists Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have fans on their toes with news of new albums. In an interview with Billboard, Birdman confirmed that Wayne's Carter V will be released before Nicki's Pinkprint LP.
Lil Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant also announced this week that Lil Wayne's album will not be drop on the rumored May 5 release date. Birdman shared little details on the Wayne's album, but did praise Nicki on what he calls her best album yet.
"She's coming confident and hard," he said. "We expect for this to be one of the biggest [albums] from her. It's more rap. She's definitely coming this year.She hasn't picked a date yet. What she did for Young Money is totally different then what she's doing for her album. She's more girly-er. 'Tha Carter V' will definitely come before Nicki's [album]."
