Lil Wayne's The Carter V Release Date Pushed Back

Lil Wayne's anticipated album Tha Carter V will not be released in May.

In an interview with NeverNotDope.com, Wayne's manager Cortez Bryant replied with a simple "no" when asked if May 5 was the album's release date. He called the album "amazing" and told fans to play their ears to streets as the real release date is scheduled for this week.

Wayne also made comments on the album with a pic of his Instagram, promising fans to be patient. "CARTERV will not release on May 5! But I promise y'all it's gonna be better than Carter III!!! #TBT"
