50 Cent sat down for an in depth interview for SIRIUSXM Town Hall about his new album Animal Ambition and his history with Steve Stoute.

50 explains to MTV's Rob Markman that Stoute tried to stop him from signing to Shady Records, the move that made his career.

"Don't do the deal with the white boy," the rapper says Stoute warned him in 2002. 50 explains that Stoute believed that the rapper was "too serious" for Eminem.
"At the time, Em was doing ['Purple Pills' with D12], so he's thinking [Eminem's] a joke," 50 explained. "Of course, I did the deal with the white boy because Em is the only one that showed interest in me. He's my favorite white boy"
The "Hold On" rapper also shared what he told Stoute during the alleged argument at Madison Square Garden that left fans puzzled.

"I said, 'That wasn't very nice of you, Steve. To say what you said wasn't really nice, and I think you should apologize,' " Fif said. The rapper is referring to the Stoute's comments on 50's longevity and relevance in the hip-hop game.
