Back in 1999, Ricky Williams agreed to let Master P be his sports agent and signed a disastrous contract his rookie year. The star college player was forced to produce ridiculous stats in order to get a paycheck that reflected his talent, which many blamed on Master P.

However, Ricky revealed that he actually came up with the incentive-based contract, because he didn't want to just be handed money. Speaking to TMZ Sports, Ricky explained, "My contract was a great contract. I wanted to earn my money. It's a misconception that P came up with the terms...It was my idea."

When asked about athletes signing with Jay Z and Birdman, Williams says it's a great idea, "They can teach the athletes how to get more out of their careers than just athletic achievement."
