It was officially announced today, March 12th, that Los Angeles Lakers star player, Kobe Bryant, will not be making his return until next season. Kobe, who has been plagued with injuries throughout this NBA season, will instead be resting and recovering as much as possible until the start of next season, in order to avoid causing further and potential career-ending injuries.
As you could image, many fans were upset about the news, but also concerned about Kobe's well-being. Many have been questioning if he should potentially give up playing basketball and retire for good to avoid future physical ailments, while others ponder if he is well-enough to play but has chosen to sit out because the team isn't doing good as it is. Twitter became flooded with fan reactions to Kobe missing the rest of the season.
