Lamar Odom is hoping in the future he and his ex wife will get back together.
In a press conference for his new basketball team in Spain, the player says that no matter what, Khloe will always be his wife. The reality star filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013. News outlets then reported the reasoning behind the separation was his alleged substance abuse.
"I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what," he said. "Who knows? We don't know exactly if (the divorce is going through.) Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife."
He also added that marrying the reality star was one of the best things he's ever done.
Those were some of the best years of my life," he said. "Being married and being married to a woman I decided to marry was, besides having children, the most important thing in my life."
