As Black History Month continues, Charlemagne Tha God hit the streets of New York for a special skit for his show Charlemagne and Friends. The radio personality hit the subways of New York to test people's knowledge of the iconic figures in Black History. To his surprise, many didn't recognize civil rights icon Rosa Parks and Malcolm X.
When asking a black guy if he knew about black history he claimed that he didn't know much. One man believed Malcolm X was Tookie Williams, leader of the Crips gang in LA.
People also mistook former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for first lady Michelle Obama.
On the contrary many people were able to identify director Tyler Perry. "That's that guy that plays the woman in that movie" one bystander says.
