Model hottie Chantel Jeffries has been put in the spotlight recently after she was reportedly in the Lamborghini that Justin was speeding in when he got arrested.  She has since flown away to Panama with Justin where the pair spent the weekend together.  Romance rumors have been blooming, despite Justin posting a picture of him cuddled up with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez not too long ago.  However, Chantel's name has been put in the public's view, for allegedly trying to backstab Justin by selling her story of riding with him during his DUI arrest.

The New York Post claimed that she was "trying to sell her story for $20,000 — but abruptly pulled out of TV interviews after spending the weekend with the 19-year-old pop star in Panama."  The went on to claim that she and her lawyer came in contact with "Good Morning America," the "Today Show," and "Inside Edition," inquiring about possible paid interviews.  But regardless of the reports from the New York Post, Chantel claims that none of them are true.

A representative for the beautiful young model stated, "Chantel's attorney and I received multiple appearance requests for Chantel, as you can imagine. None were for compensation, especially not $20,000. None were accepted. The 'Today Show' was the only one that was being even remotely considered, and they do not pay for their news."

Chantel went on to address the reports on Twitter where she stated, "I would never 'sell my story.'"

She continued to speak on the situation from her point of view via tweets.  Check out what Chantel Jeffries had to say above.
