In November, Twitter user @JagChaggarTutis posted a pic of One Direction lead singer Harry Styles urinating in a bush, although the embarrassing photo didn't go viral until now.
On Sunday, presumably after noticing the pic was making the rounds, Styles cryptically tweeted, "Mix-A-Lot's in trouble."
The rap legend then began wondering whose bushes were being violated by the British pop star, and finally Mix-a-Lot connected the dots, tweeting, "@Harry_Styles oh wait.... That's my house!! Those are my bushes!!"
Just to make sure everyone was clear, Mix-a-Lot assured that he was not the one who snapped the pic.
"@freakingniall I was not the source of the Harry butt shots I swear. LOL," he tweeted.
Nobody seems to know why exactly Harry Styles was urinating outside of Sir Mix-a-Lot's house, or why he deemed it necessary to fully drop trou like a third grader just to take whiz. Only Harry and the photographer have the answers.
