He appeared as Peter Gunz sought him out for advice on how to straighten up his life and put forth a better, more respectable image for the public, and the Twittter universe slandered him heavily. It seems the combination of Peter Gunz and Nick Cannon was all users needed to begin typing various forms of negative joking comments about them on Twitter.
