Producers for VH1's "Black Ink Crew" are in deep waters as the ex-receptionist, Alexandra Estevez or "Alex", has filed a lawsuit against them suing for at least $1,000,000.  She claims that she was given a drink by one of the producers from Big Fish Entertainment and New Pop Culture Productions, which she is convinced contained the strong "date rape" drug, Roofalin.

In the "Mixxxy Madness" episode which was shot in 2012, Alex was very intoxicated and threw herself in a very loose manner at the owner of the tattoo shop.  In the episode she stated the day after that she only had two drinks but couldn't remember anything from the night before, and she and her friend Ericka believe that one of the producers gave her the drink.  She also claims that the footage was edited to make her look as sexually loose as possible.

The show's producers have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
