Wiz Khalifa's 20-year-old uncle Imani Porter was shot and killed on Wednesday night (Jan. 8) outside of The Waterfront shopping center in Munhall, PA. The "Paperbond" rapper reacted to the shocking news on Twitter, writing "Rest in peace Imani. You['re] with Allah now. My uncle was younger and more level headed than all of us. I would have never seen this happening in a million years."
Several reports claim that the incident happened around 8 pm, when Porter was shot in the head while sitting in the front seat of his car. He was rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital in critical condition, but died later in the night. The shooters, reported as two black males, fled in a white Pontiac. Police report that there was heroin inside Porter's car, as well as the ground around the car, and believe illegal activity was at play during the incident.
