Details are scarce, but we know that Steve Rifkind, who 'XXL' attributed with being "responsible for breaking in some of hip-hop’s biggest artists in his 25 years in the business," recently suffered a heart attack.

The Long Island native, who was instrumental in establishing the careers of groups including the Wu-Tang Clan and Mobb Deep, revealed the life-changing event on his Twitter account.

"Today made a week live and learn eat write and life stress free this heart attack was no joke," tweeted Rifkind.
