Yesterday Dec. 31st, English-Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A. prepared for 2014 by sharing a message with her followers: "im leaving @RocNation." She signed with Jay Z's management company in 2012.
Earlier this year, Roc Nation pulled a trailer for the forthcoming M.I.A. documentary from YouTube. M.I.A didn't take kindly to Roc Nation's decision, saying she'd been "blacklisted" from releasing the film and told her fans to "put your middle fingers up".
