According to the Chicago Tribune, Qawmane Wilson, also known as rapper Young QC, arranged for his friends to murder his mother, Yolanda Holmes in September 2012. Holmes was the successful owner of a popular Chicago hair salon. Police say that Young QC wanted to get his hands on the more than $90,000 in her bank accounts, and to also have access to the two life insurance policies she had that he was a beneficiary of.

Now fellow Chicagoan, rapper Lil Reese has chimed in to give his two cents on the incident. Lil Reese, who is a Chief Keef affiliate, is not too happy about what Young QC allegedly had done. Lil Reese personally believes you should kill for your family, not kill them. "Kill 4yo Og not kill her wat type Gay shit is dat cause u broke nd shit smh...#300," he wrote on his Twitter account.

After an investigation, Young QC was arrested and charged with murder and home invasion in the death of his mother. As for Eugene Spencer, the alleged hit man in this case, he received charges of first degree murder, as well as home invasion and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Phone records showed that Young QC contacted Spencer and Johnson before, after and even during the murder. All three are being held without bail.

Prior to the incident Young QC had no issue with flaunting his wealth on social media. He would often post photos of stacks of money, expensive clothing, jewelry, and automobiles.
