At this point, nearly everyone has seen the shocking video of a teen named Sharkeisha beating up her friend, who has now identified herself as being 17-year-old Shamichael Manuel. The victim spoke out following the fight, revealing that the altercation began over a boy.
Speaking to KHOU Houston, Shamichael claims that she was on her way to a friend's house to pick up some of her belongings, when Sharkeisha, 16, started viciously attacking her.
"I was just in shock. I was like oh my God. Did she really do this? You're supposed to be my close friend. We were talking in school earlier that day. She made it seem like there was nothing wrong with her."
Photos released by Manuel show her bruised and swollen face. Her mother has filed a police report against Sharkeisha, who has not been suspended from school, as the fight happened off grounds.
