Lil Kim's plans to release the single, "Dead Gal Waling," off of her upcoming mixtape, Hardcore 2K13, have been met with a major bump in the road.  The cover art she chose to use for the single is actually not hers and belongs to make-up artist Samantha Ravndahl, who took to Reddit to post a picture of the artwork exposing Kim for alleged theft.

Ms. Ravndahl originally posted the picture on her Instgram account and on Reddit on October 8th, and the very next day posted a tutorial blog providing the steps of how she was able to craft her zombie look titled, Halloween How To: Pop Art Zombie.  TMZ reported that Ravndahl contacted Lil Kim's representatives seeking financial payments after she found out that Kim was promoting her image for her new single without properly addressing her first.  To add insult to injury, Kim also added a copyright logo on the image in her name.

Apparently Kim's reps initially informed Ravndahl that Kim wasn't willing to pay her anything, but after she continued to pressure them about a financial compensation, they allegedly told her that Kim "works slowly."

She hasn't taken legal action just yet but she is considering filing a lawsuit to be properly compensated for her work and any profits Kim makes off of it.  It appears as though Kim has since deleted Ravndahl's image from her own Instagram account as the matter began to escalate towards a hefty lawsuit.

Check out the image Kim added the copyright to in her own name, and Ravndahl's original work, and tutorial blog above.
