Olympic track star Lolo Jones received backlash after making fun of a fan who dressed as her for Halloween. The fan was dressed as Lolo down to every detail, but the athlete wasn't feeling her tight curls.
After seeing the tweeted photo of the fan, which was captioned, "Lolo Jones 4 Halloween. I just need a hurdle," Lolo wrote back, "And a relaxer. I haven't rocked curls since h.s. :p"
Followers thought Lolo was being insensitive, and stuck up for the fan by roasting the Olympic runner. Some were saying that the fan needed some toppled hurdles behind her, while others slammed her perceived arrogance.
This isn't the first time Jones has stirred up controversy on Twitter. Earlier this year, she compared Trayvon Martin's friend Rachel Jeantel to Tyler Perry's Madea character, which led to a wave of controversy.
