A school janitor working in a Grand Rapids elementary school offered two kids $1 to rough up another classmate, but it wound up costing her a lot more than a dollar.

The janitor hired two bullies to beat up a 9-year-old kid who evidently "told her off," and the kids followed through with the harassment. A teacher wound up hearing the janitor's offer, and delivered the shocking news to the principal. When confronted, the janitor admitted to all the allegations.

"There are no words to describe it," said district spokesman John Hemholdt. "This is one of those things that make you scratch your head and wonder how any individual could think this was a good idea."

The local news interviewed the 9-year-old victim's mother, who was absolutely incredulous over the whole incident.

"To think there's an adult that can be so like twisted to sit there and watch a little boy--a little 9-year-old boy--get beat up and get enjoyment out of it," said the mother.

The janitor was fired on sight, and probably won't get hired by another school anytime soon. The district spokesman says she could've avoided this whole situation by simply reporting the out-of-control child to the principal.
