Only a few episodes into Season 5 of "Basketball Wives," Tami Roman and Evelyn Lozada are calling it quits. Neither star will return for another season, and each has her own reason.
Tami claims she's simply had enough of the show, and isn't very fond of the image she's received from it. Additionally, she's fed up with Shaunie and Evelyn constantly disparaging her and ganging up on her.
Evelyn, on the other hand, believes her stardom has surpassed the likes of "Basketball Wives." She thinks she's big enough now for a spin-off, and said she's the reason the show was ever popular from the jump. Instead of leaving it at that, Evelyn then took shots at Tami, saying her fellow co-star can only get interviews by talking about her.
When Tami heard the comments, she took to her Twitter account.
"When you start to believe your OWN hype, fame goes wrong ijs - I'll stay in the humble lane...it rides better," she tweeted. "@Evelynlozada I do not talk about YOU in interviews unless I am asked, so stop it. And my blogs are show based, so keep it cute boo."
She later deleted the tweets after a fan calmed her down.
