The Hip Hop world has been abuzz over Kendrick Lamar's beast-mode verse on Big Sean's "Control," mainly over K-Dot labeling himself the "King of New York" despite being from the West Coast. However, another line caught the attention of legendary NBA coach Phil Jackson.

On the song, Kendrick spits, "If Phil Jackson came back, still no coachin' me I'm uncoachable, I'm unsociable..." During his coaching years, Jackson was known for his ability to tame wild players, e.g. Dennis Rodman and Ron Artest.

Jackson responded to Kendrick's line on Twitter, writing, "@kendricklamar it's okay to be cocky and sure, but we all need somebody to lean on. Let's just call it mentoring."

Do you agree with Jackson?
