The crowd which gathered to see R. Kelly perform in Cincinnati, Ohio on Saturday night got very rambunctious, very quickly. After watching Leela James, Morris Day and the Time, Fantasia, and Kem all perform at the Macy's Music Festival, concertgoers were more than ready to see Kels. People were feeling exhausted from the all-day affair, and simply wanted to hear some classic R. Kelly. However, as R. Kelly remained absent, people began to get angry.

Eventually, a chant of "bring ya a** out" erupted, a reference to R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" series. After chanting relentlessly for a while, the crowd began to disperse. The sprinkle of people deciding to leave quickly became a mass, and event planners did all they could to keep fans at the venue -- everything except letting the people know why Kels was late.

About an hour and a half after Kels was supposed to perform, he finally showed up. Despite their anger only minutes before, all that was left of the crowd embraced him with open arms, and forgot all about their frustration.
