In the song "SomewhereInAmerica" off of Jay Z's new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail," Hov spits a line about Miley Cyrus and her twerking antics.
"Feds still lurking/ They see I'm still putting work in/ Cause somewhere in America/ Miley Cyrus is still twerking," raps Jay.
Many may have been taken aback by the shout out, but Miley knew all about it beforehand.
"Pharrell had actually hit me up, he was like, 'Jay Z wants to call you and tell you that he's shouting you out in the song tomorrow,'" recalled Miley. "I was in Miami and was doing crazy press for my record. So I came out...and we got to go out and hear it in a club. It was fun."
Miley's upcoming album will feature production from Pharrell, Mike WiLL Made It, and more.
