Mathew Knowles got married this past Sunday in Houston to Gena Avery, but neither of his two famous daughters were in attendance.
Papa Knowles spoke to TMZ and told them, "Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend."
Mathew and Tina Knowles separated in 2009, though they weren't officially divorced until 2011. Mathew Knowles' strained relationship with Beyonce has been highly publicized, but according to the family, everything is cool.
