New England Patriots footballer Aaron Hernandez is expected to be served with an arrest warrant for obstruction of justice in connection with a homicide investigation.

While police were investigating Hernandez's home after 27-year-old Odin Lloyd was found shot a mile away, they found that the home security system had been intentionally destroyed. It was also revealed that Hernandez turned over his phone "in pieces" after it had allegedly been smashed.

ESPN legal analyst Roger Cossack weighed in on the situation, saying "Now the problem of course is that nobody knows what was in that home surveillance, so in some ways it's difficult for the police to make their case."

Hernandez, 23, has been at the center of the investigation since Lloyd's body was found. The Boston Globe is reporting that local surveillance showed the two men hanging out hours before Lloyd was killed.

The Patriots baller was also recently named in a lawsuit where a man is claiming Hernandez shot him in Miami back in February while they were arguing in his car. We'll be sure to update you on the details surrounding Hernandez's legal woes.
