Jay-Z's Twitter presence is notably sparse, and the rapper will oftentimes go months between tweets. That's why it was so surprising when Hov posted not 1, not 2, but 5 tweets in a row on Monday.
The hip hop general went on a rant of sorts, attaching the hashtag #newrules to each tweet as he commented on his new album, "Magna Carta Holy Grail," Kanye West's "lead single", a J. Cole app for listening sessions, and Wale.
The Brooklyn emcee signed off with the tweet, "Ok that was my yearly allotment see ya'll 2014 #newrules #magnacartaholygrail"
