Patrick Ewing's son, Patrick Ewing Jr., wasn't too pleased when he learned Jason Kidd snagged the position of head coach of the Brooklyn Nets yesterday, Wednesday, June 12th. While he never officially hated on Jason Kidd on a personal level, nor did he discredit Kidd's abilities and knowledge on the court, he did express his opinions that he believes there are far more qualified individuals than Kidd, who just retired from the NBA earlier this month. Patrick Jr. was also irritated by the fact that his father doesn't get the notification he deserves, and was overlooked by Brooklyn when it came time to select a head coach for the organization.
