Justin Bieber is currently being sued by photographer Jeffery Binion, who claims that Bieber had one of his bodyguards, Hugo Hesny, assault him while stealing the memory card from Mr. Binion's camera while he tried to snap pictures of the Biebs outside of Miami's Hit Factory recording studio. Mr. Binion alleges that Bieber told Mr. Hesny to attack him, and that Hesny threw him against a wall and grabbed his neck and "displayed a gun" which was allegedly holstered at his waist under his shirt. Binion claims that Hesney and other bodyguards then took the memory card out of his camera.
Binion claims that he suffered bodily injuries and that the incident has left him with mental distress. Binion's lawyer, Russell S. Adler, spoke to TMZ about the alleged assault.
"Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's violent behavior toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions. No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber's shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehavior in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law."
Representatives for Bieber have yet to comment on the matter.
