With his new album "Watching Movies With The Sound Off" set to drop in just a couple weeks, Mac Miller isn't so excited about the Soundscan battle he's unintentionally became a part of. J. Cole moved his "Born Sinner" album release date up to rival Kanye's "Yeezus," leaving Miller wondering why everyone cares so much about album sales.
"It makes me sad that everybody cares so much about the number of albums we are selling first week," tweeted Mac. "As if that actually means something."
He then went on to joke that country singer Hunter Hayes would probably outsell all of them come June 18.
"Everyone gna be pissed when Hunter Hayes sells more than all of us combined," he tweeted.
