In what's quite the strange story, a woman recently lost her marriage over Waka Flocka Flame--but she's not upset. In fact, she's enlightened.
Dianne D, a South Florida woman, posted a piece on her blog titled, "How a Waka Flocka Flame Concert Ended My Marriage and Saved My Life."
The story goes, Dianne had heard that many rappers were better at social network marketing than most experts, and began following Waka Flocka Flame for that reason. Flocka eventually followed her back, and the two started sharing retweets.
Dianne believed the contact with Waka gave her "happiness, more followers, and credibility." From this breakthrough, she began reviewing up-and-coming artists, some of them rappers.
Meanwhile, Dianne's husband absolutely hates rap. When Dianne revealed her plans to attend the upcoming Waka Flocka show, her husband tried to keep her from going.
She wrote in her blog, "He basically implied that "many black men would be putting their bodies in close proximity to mine," also, "since I was so enamored of Waka, if Waka asked, I might go out clubbing with him and end up doing something I'd regret."
Dianne went to the show anyways, and ended up divorcing her hip-hop-hating husband. At the show, Dianne got to meet Flocka, and he said he remembered her from Twitter. Happy ending.
