The cast of Vh1's "Love & Hip Hop" NY cast is up in arms over their contracts and have protested going to work over the drama. According to TMZ, the cast feels that they are getting the short end of the stick in contract negotiations.

On Tuesday the cast was supposed to film their trailer for the upcoming season in NY, but only half the crew showed up. The other half of the cast stayed at home in protest over their negotiations of their contracts. Most of the cast reportedly feels they deserve double the money they got last season, while others want more say in the footage shown on the program.

TMZ reveals that emergency meetings have taken place over the drama, and the cast is hoping to have everything settled by the end of the week. If the cast doesn't get what they want, they plan to stay on strike.
