Ol' Dirty Bastard's widow Icelene Jones expressed her dissapointment over her late husband's image being used for the Rock the Bells festival without her permission. Jones is the administrator for ODB's estate, and claims that no one asked her about the hologram performance.
"I am disappointed that Rock the Bells would not contact me directly about the use of my husband's image. I am looking forward to talking to Wu-Tang about this matter and coming up with a positive solution in order to bring my husband to the stage once again."
Jones also spoke about ODB's son performing at the festival, "My son, Young Dirty Bastard, [also known as] Boy Jones has always performed at Rock the Bells and looks forward to working with his Uncle RZA every year."
OBD's mom Cherry Jones was at the press conference for the big announcement, but Icelene's name didn't come up during the press conference or post interview. Hopefully that can come to an agreement that will please the fans.
