In a bizarrely coincidental event, a McDonald's drive-thru worker in Kennewick, Washington had her car stolen on Tuesday morning, only to have it pull up her to drive-thru window later in the day.
Virginia Maiden reported her 1995 Toyota 4-Runner stolen on Tuesday morning, after she accidentally left it unlocked. While she was working, the Toyota pulled up to Maiden's window, leaving the worker in disbelief. When she got over the absurdity of the incident, she called the police, who arrested the thief while still in the parking lot.
The police also found large amounts of clothing with the security tags still on them in the car, reportedly stolen from JC Penney earlier in the day.
Seems like the case of an old fashioned kleptomaniac.
