With the combined creativity of Pharrell and Busta Rhymes, you would think stealing a song would be out of the question. But a rapper who goes by the name of Monty $$ claims P and Busta got their song "Twerk It" from his song of the same name.
"It's the same song, they just copied it and put it out," Monty told the Miami New Times. "They are coming down to Miami and blatantly disrespecting me. They come to Miami and disrespect the city by taking its music."
Monty claims he posted his version of "Twerk It" to the Facebook page of a pal who was connected to Pharrell, and that he has a conversation recorded, in which they admit to using his song to make theirs.
