Former Fugees member Wyclef Jean recently shared his thoughts on Lauryn Hill's current financial issues and her deal with Sony. 'Clef believes Lauryn's upcoming album will be fantastic, but hopes she surrounds herself with the right people.
"I wish her the best, I think she's going to have a great album," said Wyclef on RapFix Life. "You're going to have ups and downs in the industry. What I learned in the industry is just make sure that you surround yourself with the best people. Not people that's just gonna tell you what you want to hear, but people that's gonna tell you the truth. You develop a God complex. Trust me when I tell you that."
Lauryn is facing some serious tax issues, but her deal with Sony will reportedly allow her to pay off her debt in full.
