Kevin Hart has been formally charged with DUI after he allegedly drove drunk and nearly crashed into a gas tanker truck.
Hart was busted a couple of weeks ago after California Highway Patrol officers spotted him doing 90 mph and driving erratically on an L.A. freeway - at one point he reportedly almost clipped a gas tanker truck.
Sources tell TMZ that Hart blew a .15 -- nearly twice the legal limit of .08.
The comedian has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail. However, first offenders almost never get sentenced to jail time. Also, he's a celebrity and this is the L.A. court system we're talking about here, so more than likely he'll walk away with a fine and community service.
