Back in the day, Uncle Luke was the frontman of maybe the most ratchet Hip Hop group of all time, 2 Live Crew. Their music was found so vulgar that the Supreme Court felt the need to step in.
But despite his past reputation, Uncle Luke has since chosen the path of community activist. According to AllHipHop.com, Luke hooked up an endorsement deal with b condoms, in order to promote safe sex in urban communities.
"I am very excited to partner with b condoms to advocate safe sex," Uncle Luke said. "Teen pregnancy and STDs are mostly impacting African-Americans and Latinos and I want to help make a difference. It's time for everyone to go platinum."
Luke is planning on donating 5,000 Platinum XL condoms to the Miami area through non-profit organizations. In addition to that, he's donating 1,000 condoms to Empower U for the Fashion designers Expo Florida fashion week in Miami.
