The Genius was always the most intellectual member of Wu-Tang, and he's now showing his love for learning by helping out with New York City public schools. GZA is teaming up with Columbia University and ten public schools to integrate science with Hip Hop. Students will write science-based raps in their science classes, which will eventually be performed and judged by GZA himself.

"This is a response to achievement gaps in science and mathematics," said Columbia University professor, Christopher Edmin. "It is a response to students' disinterest in science, and more broadly to kids just not wanting to show up in school."

The student that has the illest and most accurate science rap will have their lyrics posted on Rap Genius.

"There are a lot of fly-by-night approaches to improve the classrooms, and the one thing they lack is cultural authenticity," said Edmin. "Hip Hop is firmly rooted in urban culture, and GZA is the consummate cultural ambassador."
