During last night's game (March 31st) between Louisville and Duke, Kevin Ware suffered an incredibly frightening and freak accident, after he leaped into the air while attempting to block a 3-point shot attempt by Duke guard, Thornton, and somehow managed to snap his leg cleanly in half upon his landing.  The break was so gruesome that about 6 inches of his shin bone was sticking out of his leg.

His last words before being taken off the court on a stretcher were apparently "win the game, win the game" to his teammates.  After Louisville's victory last night, his teammates visited him in the hospital and brought him the regional championship trophy to hold for a few moments.  A few pictures were taken which were posted on Twitter and Instagram of Kevin holding the trophy, and it's clear to see that he was very weary, most likely due to all of the painkillers he had to have been on.

See the glorious moments above.
