Super producer Timbaland filed an insurance claim on his "stolen" watch recently, but the insurance company is not buying the story.
Timbo filed the lawsuit against American Home Assurance Company, suggesting that his 2-year-old daughter misplaced the $900,000 watch.
But, A.H.A.C. filed legal docs of their own, in which they essentially call Timbo a liar. According to the insurance company, Timbaland bought the watch for $900,000, but insured it for twice that value. There were also discrepancies in his story. He reported the watch stolen, but then changed the story four months later, claiming his daughter lost it.
No one in Timbo's extended family seemed to help either, and it looks like the producer won't be seeing that money anytime soon--if ever.
