On Sunday, March 24th, Lupe Fiasco decided he needed to provide his many Twitter followers with some wise words on the state of hip-hop being an unfortunate close associate with the general violence that occurs in society on a daily basis. He brought up many points about how violent lyrics often sway an individual's mentality to thinking that acts of physical aggression are acceptable in life.
Fiasco offered some suggestions to the many rappers in the game who use references to guns and violence in a negative way, rather than shed light on the importance of not using guns.
