A serious legal battle between Reservoir Media Management and Craze Productions has emerged, with Reservoir claiming Craze is illegally selling Aaliyah's music online. Reservoir claims they are the sole owner of her songs from her double-platinum albums "Aaliyah" and "One in a Million."

This lawsuit comes just after Jeffery Walker II, aka J-Dub, filed a lawsuit against Blackground Records, Barry Hankerson, his son Jomo Hankerson, and Black Fountain Music in Georgia. Walker claims he was never compensated for royalties on several songs he worked on with Aaliyah.

Walker claims Aaliyah's uncle Barry Hankerson forged his signature, and cashed the checks and deposited them into Blackground's account. Walker was taxed on the $262,580 worth of income from 2004-2011, which he never received.

Both cases are still pending.
